Pei-Chih double majored in Biochemistry and Psychology, earning her BA from Rice University in 1997. She deferred law school for one year to study medical ethics and health policy, graduating with honors from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2001 and obtaining her Master’s in Public Health three months later.
Pei-Chih enjoys the challenges and strategy involved in litigation and the opportunity to continue her love of science and medicine. Since joining the firm, she has successfully tried several cases. Pei-Chih also continues her interest in health care policy and legislation by keeping current with the never ending health care reforms. Her practice through the years has also included general negligence, products liability, construction defect, premises liability, commercial litigation and insurance coverage.
Pei-Chih’s family emigrated from Taiwan; she speaks both Taiwanese and Mandarin dialects. Pei-Chih grew up in Dallas and maintains her residence there. Her parents own a small company in Dallas where Pei-Chih serves as in-house counsel whenever her parents demand it (sometimes nicely). She divides her time between Houston and Dallas.
Pei-Chih was recognized as a Rising Star by Texas Monthly in 2010. |
